I got these socks for a very practical reason: I was wearing new sneakers and they were tearing up the backs of my ankles and I was bleeding. This was happening during Paris fashion week, and a chic stylist actually pointed at my oozing heel and gasped. That was… not very chic! So I ran into Monoprix (France’s Target equivalent) and grabbed a pair. I was wearing a pair of Rachel Comey’s legion pants in khaki, which are flared and cropped, so I knew these socks were going to be SEEN by the fashion industry’s most discerning eyes, and that they had to look cute.

I found a pair that had thick stripes, and they instantly added a little interest to my otherwise quite plain ‘fit. That same stylist told me they did indeed look cute!
And I’d noticed that all the cool kids in fashion were starting to cover up their ankles—gym socks and dad sneakers, delicate frilly socks to wear with heels. Worth a try, right?

JAMB 2018 : Why Is My Result Removed From JAMB Portal

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has said the 2018 Unified Tertiary University Examinations (UTME) candidates who could no longer access their results even after seeing it inititially might have had their results withheld.

This was disclosed by the boards head of media., Fabian Benjamin, in an interview with newsmen.


It was gathered that some candidates have earlier becried the the removal of their released results from the website of the Board, after initially accessing it.

The candidates complained that all they now see when they try to check their results is, “You do not have any result yet” or “you did not write the examination,” after such results were earlier published.

According to Mr. Benjamin, the board may reschedule the examinations for some whose cases are exceptional  and such candidates will be contacted before then.

He explained that the board was still working to release other results.

Mr. Benjamin also enjoined those who intend to change their choice of institutions before the 2018/19 admissions process begins, to visit the board’s site and follow the procedure as displayed.

He said the process has been ongoing and costs N2, 500 only and can only be processed online, just like every other process of the board...

Life may take u through some test which may hinder us from achieving some certain things in life , it might also make us feel weak and not able to achieve our dreams and goals , and it might also make us keep hallucinating and not able and move forward but rent never let ur weakness be ur defeat , you rather make it ur strength and courage and also What keeps you going here is my advice for the pressurized ones is that never let what people say about you get to you , rather you ignore and n focus on ur dreams , let them see the brave you, let them see you as their mentor and as they say never relent on ur dreams and never get discouraged
